Young Adults of The 300 (Red members) puts together over 100 ways to do things you want to do with people you want to meet through clusters all over L.A. Hiker? Yogi? Foodie? Networker? You’ve come to the right place.

Charity Fund

With over 25 years of experience in charitable giving, we provide personal service to individuals, foundations, and corporations to facilitate prompt, reliable support of worthy causes around the world.

Donations of any size are welcome – we accept gifts as small as $10.00.  Our fees are among the lowest available.

Sponsor Program

Community Support Program is a new way for communities to help refugees by sponsoring them to set up home in America. This is an exciting opportunity to connect people seeking safety with compassionate communities willing to help.

What We Do

The 300 identifies and addresses our greatest challenges and opportunities. We built this community with the normal hard worker black person in mind. Even though we will always celebrate our past, we are the only black (melanated) organization that is as focused on the future as much as the present. We have both the foresight and hindsight that is required to plan for tomorrow and the hands-on commitment that make it possible for us to care for our community today. We do this in collaboration with our organizational partners and our most committed leaders and donors.

As a result, our work is strategic, impactful, and inspiring. We are establishing new local chapter ever year, in the hopes of coming a global leader, doing essential work here in America and throughout the African world.

Ultimately, it’s not what we do but why we do it — which is to create the kind of enduring black community we all want and need, based on shared goals, code of conduct, and African values.

Pay Your Pledge

By making your pledge, you are taking action on behalf of your African culture and making an impact on our 300 community. With your generosity, our pledge will touch every members life in the 300, the black community here in America and around the world — starting with yours.

Payment can be made in many ways, including installment payments and stock transfers. Learn more about our payment options.

Thank you in advance for fulfilling your commitment and supporting our Community’s life-changing work!

Honor, Celebrate, Remember — and Support our Community — With a Tribute Gift

Whether you want to express your joy, condolences, or friendship, a tribute gift is a special acknowledgment as it supports the impactful work of our community. And that says a lot about the giver. When you make a tribute gift, we will send a printed thank you card or an e-card to the individual or there family.

Legacy Gifts & Endowments

300 Endowment Fund

In 2011, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles celebrated its 100th anniversary. To mark this historic milestone, we launched the Centennial Endowment Fund. The fund welcomes gifts of one million dollars and more and is an effort to ensure that our community is in good hands for the next 100 years and beyond.

Every act of generosity has the power to uplift the community. When you endow your gift, your good intentions are multiplied because, like a seed, an endowment has the power to grow. Once the seed is planted, an endowment takes on a life of its own, creating a legacy with the power to touch the lives of those you want to help in perpetuity. That means that when your work is done, your gift will live on forever.

Join the leaders of our community in celebrating a century of tzedakah by making a bold new investment for our Jewish future through the Centennial Endowment Fund.

Make a lasting difference through the Endowment Fund.

“Your endowment gift will support the Federation’s Annual Campaign in perpetuity, ensuring our Jewish future and galvanizing the Jewish community:

  • Sustaining a strong connection to the people of Israel
  • Strengthening Jewish identity through education
  • Developing future leaders of our community
  • Strengthening relationships with the diverse communities of Los Angeles
  • Serving the vulnerable”

Recognition for your endowed gift will take many forms, including an inscription in a place of honor at the Federation Goldsmith Center at 6505 Wilshire, prominent listings in Federation publications and commemorative materials, and on our website, as well as special acknowledgement at Federation events. The recognition of your most generous legacy gift will honor your family, set an inspiring example for the community, and make a lasting difference for those you wish to help.
